What are the advantages of low voltage LED wall washer light?
LED wall washer light has two kinds of working voltage. One is high voltage which is AC110 or AC220 normally. The wall washer light in this voltage can work under city electricity directly and is very convenient to install.
Another kind of voltage is DC 24 volt. The wall washer light in low voltage can not be used under city electricity directly. It should work with an AC-DC transformer which converts high voltage (AC power) to low voltage (DC power). Normally one transformer is able to carry multiple wall washer lights. The installation of low voltage wall washer light is a little complicated than that in high voltage. But it is more safe and normally its price is a little lower.
To choose high voltage or low voltage for the wall washer lights depends on where you will install them. If they are easily touched by people, or will be installed under water or in ground, please use low voltage. Otherwise you can consider high voltage.
Waterproof grade
The inside of our LED wall washer light is filled with glue which is benefit for heat dissipation and provide better protection from water. Generally the whole light can reach IP66 waterproof grade. If the light body is made from stainless steel, it can even reach IP68. Stainless steel is antioxidant and corrosion resistant, it can be used underwater all the time. The IP68 wall washer light can be used as fountain light, pond light, swimming pool light or in ground light.
Extension cable
The DMX cable on our wall washer light is very short. Normally it is only about 20cm. If the distance between two lights is too long, then extension cable should be added. Our extension cables are very thick and with very good quality.
